"My name is Joy Leavitt and I am incredibly lucky to married to the author of The Wishing Stone, Keeper of the Stone.  I have been teaching elementary since 2010. I have had the pleasure of reading the book to a few of my fifth grade classes before it was published. As a class it was fun to work together to find the hidden gems and go through the adventures with Stephanie. Teaching predictions and inferences was entertaining with all the twists and turns because it was never what we thought. My students would ask for it when we had a few extra minutes. It was exciting and engaging. When compared to other read aloud books this was their favorite. They were thrilled to be able to offer a review of the book, some of which are found on the back."
